Project Methuselah: Episode 1

About the game

In this adventure game, you play as a Memory Investigator, a futuristic Private Detective who solves mysteries from the past. 

Project Methuselah is a retro detective game inspired by PS1 classics like Parasite Eve and adventure games like The Case of the Golden Idol.

The story

Washed-up detective Clara Roth must solve a government conspiracy involving a mysterious drug program. Julia, the widow of a murdered mob boss, is searching for his killer and asks for Clara’s help. Soon, they discover that the two cases are connected, and they must use memory scanning technology to find the truth.

The game

Explore levels and uncover short flashbacks which provide clues to the mystery. Use deduction to solve the case and input the correct solution in the ‘casefile’ menu which is populated as you discover clues.

CONTROLS:

Keyboard

• WASD keys to move
• LEFT CTRL key to interact with objects and doors
• TAB to open the menu
• Navigate the menu with the WASD keys and press ENTER to select dropdown or press a button, or use the mouse as normal
• ESCAPE key on the keyboard for the quit menu
• Navigate the title screen with the mouse

Gamepad

• LEFT ANALOGUE STICK to move
• A BUTTON to interact with objects and doors
• Y BUTTON to open the menu
• Navigate the menu with the LEFT ANALOGUE STICK and press A BUTTON to select the dropdown or a press button
